Scout Gaming has entered into a framework agreement with Eurovision Sport, a division of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the world’s leading alliance of public service media. A first targeted partner will gain access to the platform and is expected to launch during fourth quarter 2019.

The agreement stipulates that Scout Gaming will provide platform licenses to Eurovision Sport, its partners and EBU Members. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is the world’s leading alliance of Public Service Media (PSM). They have 116 member organizations in 56 countries and have an additional 34 Associates in Asia, Africa, Australasia and the Americas. Their Members operate over 2,000 television, radio and online channels and services, and offer a wealth of content across other platforms.

The agreement is expected to have some impact on Scout Gaming’s 2019 revenues but has the potential to have a significant effect on its revenues in future years depending on the pace of the uptake within EBU Members and partners.

“Scout Gaming’s ambition has from the start been to partner with tier one operators and media houses, particularly those that share our appetite for innovation within the sports area. EBU is an ideal partner – they are extremely passionate about providing and coordinating high quality content to its member’s audience. Scout Gaming launches Player Odds Sportsbook with Betflex

Scout Gaming Group has beta launched their proprietary Player odds sportsbook as well as the cross-selling tool, Betflex, on FanTeam.com as the first customer. Betflex focuses on cross-selling, to and from, traditional match odds and player odds sportsbook and DFS.

Player odds sportsbook is capturing the ability to bet on players individual Fantasy points collection during the game. Initially, players are able to bet on the outcome of a player duel based on their collection of fantasy points during the game, as well as over or under a certain level of a given fantasy point amount. Player odds sportsbook is complementing the traditional match odds sportsbook and widen the markets.

Betflex is Scout Gaming’s internally developed cross-selling tool, with the ambition to closely relate the operators’ sports offerings. By selecting outcome in a specific tournament, single game or event, the player provides data points about their predictions. These data points are used by Betflex to give the player other closely related bets and tournaments.

“Our in-house developed Player odds sportsbook opens the ability to bet on different fantasy points related outcomes. In essence, this is a true player focused experience were you both can bet on the winner in a versus duel as well as over or under. We wanted to capture the possibility to play on an individual player’s overall performance during the game as a complement to the traditional sportsbook offer within the operators.

We are working intensively with player related games where we combine and use our in-house stats and pricing towards both traditional wagering-related games and pool betting. Betflex is our tool for connecting the associated games and provide the user with tailor suited bets based on his selections and predictions. Clients will be able to use Betflex for a multiple of cross-selling opportunities both within our product offering as well as other connected supplier’s” comments Scout Gaming’s CPO, Andreas Sundal.

Scout Gaming launches World’s largest Fantasy Premier league season game

As the leading B2B fantasy sports provider, Scout Gaming Group is breaking new ground with its €250,000 guaranteed prize pool season game for Premier League. With 12,000 available seats at €25 each, the competition promises to pay out 1,250 prizes, with the 1st place winner securing €50,000. The tournament is available for Scout Gaming’s clients in the world-wide network.

Scout Gaming Group’s seasonal game has similarities to the popular official Fantasy Premier League game with regards to budget, number of players, and some of the scoring rules. However, the FPL is not a money game, and Scout Gaming Group’s season game is in a different league when it comes to real money prizes. There are prizes for best manager per month and even per game week. A side tournament for the high rollers is provided as well, with a hefty buy-in of €2,625.

Even with the season game around the corner, Scout Gaming Group is first and foremost a daily fantasy sports provider, offering a wide variety of sports and leagues with real money buy-ins and prizes, including: NBA Basket, NHL hockey, MLB baseball, NFL football, UFC Mixed Martial Arts, Grand Slam tennis, IPL Cricket and of course soccer and several of local leagues globally.

Additionally, Scout Gaming Group is a pioneer in offering betting markets on fantasy points duels, matchups, and over/under fantasy points. Using the same scoring system as for DFS, it is possible to set up duels between players from different matches, and even from different sports.
